LIVE Time – Middle School After School Fellowship
LIVE Time, the new after-school experience for Middle School students, meets every Wednesday afternoon from 3-6 pm, during the school year. At LIVE Time, kids start out with a chance to decompress from the school day. We have a snack and hang out in the youth room. Then, we head upstairs to work on homework from school. At that point, we get some energy out by playing some group games, before settling in for a time of scripture study. The kids end by learning how to play handbells (the coolest of all instruments!)
Students who attend Strath Haven Middle School walk to LIVE Time from the Middle School. A LIVE Time volunteer meets them at the school at 2:30, and they walk over together. Car transportation is available to LIVE time for students attending other schools in the area – and Pastor Rob can line that up for students who need a ride. Parents can pick up their students at 6 pm from the church.
