Congregational Wellness Ministry (CWM)
The Congregational Wellness Ministry (CWM) was approved by the Wallingford Presbyterian Church session in January 2016. It is under the Care Council of the Session and in concert with the Deacons. A CWM oversight cabinet was made up of seven professional people from our congregation. The purpose of this ministry is to try and touch the entire congregation with information, knowledge and skills that will help raise awareness of the relationship between health and spiritual well being; to encourage each person toward the understanding that health is a gift and that each person is responsible for being a good steward of that gift.
Health is viewed as not only the absence of disease but a sense of physical, social, psychological and spiritual well-being and being in harmony with self, others, the environment and with God. Healing is the process of integrating the body, mind and spirit to create wholeness, health and a sense of well-being.
The Congregational Wellness Ministry will be administered by Cyndi Lacroix, a registered nurse with over 30 years of experience in most nursing disciplines; the longest time working in Oncology, Hospice and Palliative Care. Cyndi has a valid RN license from the state of PA and has held a license in four other states during her career.
Cyndi looks forward to starting this journey with all of you. For more information, or to schedule time with Cyndi, please email her at firstname.lastname@example.org or call her at 724-991-9631.
I never stop thanking God for you…..Eph 1:16
