Gardening with FUSE
FUSE is partnering with ‘The Delaware County Master Gardeners’ Intergenerational Garden” to relocate the current gardening plot from 6th and Morton Ave to the new plot ~ 14’ x 120’ at 322 E. 8th St., Chester, located behind the parking lot of St. Paul’s.
FUSE is now reaching out for volunteers to help clean up the old location, prepare the new beds including marking for the fencing, building raised beds, and putting up new fencing around the new plot.
Saturday, April 15:
10:00 am – 12:00 pm at 6th and Morton Ave
12:00 pm- 2:00 pm at 322 E. 8th St., Chester
Saturday, April 22: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at 322 E. 8th St., Chester
Sunday, April 23: Volunteers welcome to come on their own schedule to 322 E. 8th St., Chester
- Moving raised beds
- Filling raised beds with garden soil
- Erecting a fence
- Complete clean-up of old garden site
- Finish painting of garden shed at 6th and Morton
Tools to bring:
- Sledge hammers
Gloves provided- please bring garden tools and hammers!
Volunteers can park in the St. Paul’s Church parking lot at 9th and Madison Streets.
