This year’s Vacation Bible Camp will be conducted from Monday, July 25 to Saturday, July 30, from 6 to 8PM each night. Cost of attending is $10 per child with a maximum of $20 per family.

What is this year’s theme? Building!

Monday: God built everything that is, including us! God knows us and loves us even more than we know and love our favorite creation.

Tuesday: Solomon loved God so much that he wanted to do something great for God (building the first temple) . We can do things for God out of our love for God also.

Wednesday: The temple is destroyed, but God is still with the Israelites. When our things get destroyed, and we think that things are terrible, we can remember that the most important thing cannot be destroyed – our connection to God.

Thursday: Jesus (and John) tell us about the place God is building for us (heaven) – God builds us an amazing home – not made by human hands, eternal in the heavens.

Friday: God builds us into the community of faith that is living in God’s reality, teaching others about it, helping others because of it. Out of living stones (us).

Saturday: (Family night): Watch the Lego Movie. Eat pizza and popcorn.

Want to help with VBC? There are three ways:

1) Volunteer – we need decorators, artists, folks who can welcome our children, actors/bible story tellers, and snack providers. Much of the work will take place 6-8 pm, Mon-Fri (July 25-30). Decorating will take place the week before, with flexible hours. Please email Rob to volunteer.

2) Donate Legos/Duplos/Mega Blocks – During the week, the kids will get to play with Legos, and we’ll decorate with Legos. After the week, we’ll donate the Legos to a local non-profit so other children can play with them. You can drop used Legos off in the boxes in Fellowship Hall starting the second week of June (after the Strawberry Festival.)

3) Invite/bring children! 4 years old through graduated 5th graders. They do not need to be connected to WPC or to any church.
