The last Third Friday event of the program year will be held on Friday, May 15. Meghan Hawkins, a WPC member who is also as an educator at the Delaware Children’s Museum where she leads monthly science and engineering programs, will lead kids through a series of experiments with household items like lemon juice, salt, yeast, baking soda and sugar. The kids will also make “bristle bots” using tooth brushes.

A spaghetti dinner will be served from 5:30 to 6 with the science program to follow. There is no charge for this event, but a free will offering will be accepted.

Registration on-line, or by calling Walt Kaminski (610-334-2025) is strongly recommended, as space is limited.
