9th and 10th grade students are invited to participate in CCJ this January-May.   During CCJ, students meet once a week to think about what they believe, learn what other Christians believe, laugh together and pray together At the end of CCJ, students will have the opportunity (though not the requirement) to join the church.  Students interested in participating and their parents are invited to CCJ Orientation, Wed, Dec 12th, 7-8 pm.

Some students ask if they have to believe everything the church stands for and be ready to join in order to participate in CCJ.  They do not!  Participating in CCJ doesn’t mean that you think Presbyterians have it all together (or that you even know what Presbyterians believe!)  It doesn’t even mean that you know what you believe.  What it means is that you are interested in trying to find out!  CCJ is a journey of faith and knowledge.  It is a journey that we take together, but it is also a very personal journey – and not everyone will come to the same conclusions at the end.  If it sounds like a journey that you or someone you love wants to take, give Pastor Rob a call and talk it over.  Rob’s office number is 610-566-1644 ext 13.  If you prefer e-mail, Rob’s address is rob@wallingfordpres.org.
