You are invited to join us for a “Psalm-Enchanted Evening” on Sunday November 4 at 4:00 PM.  We’ll begin in the sanctuary with an informal program exploring some of the Psalms.  There are 150 Psalms in the bible – beautiful examples of poetry of praise, lament, thanksgiving, and hope.  There are a myriad of musical settings for each Psalm, and we will experience just a small sampling of sung and spoken Psalms.  The choir will help lead the singing, but all attending are encouraged to participate with song and prayer.  We also hope to have art and photography displayed in the sanctuary, highlighting the ideals of the Psalms and providing visual support for the words and music we offer.

Following the Psalm program, we will move to the Fellowship Hall to share a meal together of soup, chili, bread, and dessert.  This time for sharing food and fellowship is a wonderful opportunity to talk with your WPC friends and to meet new folks, and time to view more of the art and photos.

All are welcome, children and adults.  If you are able, please let us know you are coming so we can plan our food needs.  There is a sign-up sheet available in the Fellowship Hall between services on Sunday morning, or you can sign up on line by clicking on

All are welcome, children and adults. If you are able, please let us know you are coming so we can plan our food needs. There is a sign-up sheet available in the Fellowship Hall between services on Sunday morning, or you can sign up on line by clicking on register. We are seeking volunteers to lend and share their art or craft – be it painting, drawings, sculpture, fabric arts, or photography. We also need volunteers to bring a pot of soup or chili or to bring a dessert to share. If you have any questions or would like more information, please feel free to contact Liz Braden at music@wallingfordpres.org. We hope you will join us!

Yours in peace,
Liz Braden
