White Water Rafting – Middle School Event (updated schedule)

The middle school rafting trip has been shortened to one day, Saturday, August 14, to make the trip more affordable and also to allow some additional time at home for Pastor Rob.  The cost will now be $50 per person.  Final registration is due by Monday, August 9.

Schedule:

6 am – meet in the church parking

6:30 am – vans pull out

8:30 am – begin rafting in Jim Thorpe, PA with Pocono Whitewater Rafting Company (We had a great experience with this company last year. )

1 or 2 pm – finish rafting

4 pm (roughly) – arrive back at WPC

To bring:

Breakfast (or full belly)

Sack lunch (non-perishable)

Change of clothing (for when we get off the river)

Swim suit (wearing it)

Water shoes/water sandles (wearing them)

Sunscreen

Hat/sunglasses (optional: If you bring them, make sure they have a strap, and be prepared to lose them in the water – it might happen)

Water bottle
