Taize Prayer Service – Wednesday, March 24 at 7:30 PM

Please join us on Wednesday, March 24 at 7:30 PM for a Taizé Prayer Service. The

service will be held in the sanctuary, lit with candles to create a beautiful and meditative

worship space. The service will begin with music; there will be scripture readings,

interspersed with more short prayer songs. Following the scriptures, there will be an

extended period of silence; concluding the silence will be communal prayer and closing

songs.

A Prayer Service is a time of worship that uses music, scripture, and silence to encourage

prayer. It is our hope that the music will touch you and allow you to relax and open your

hearts, minds, souls, and bodies to prayer and hearing God’s word.

Childcare will be available by reservation; please contact the church office by March 21

if you will need childcare. The service will begin at 7:30 PM and last

approximately 45-60 minutes. Please join us for this new experience – come to sing

and pray, come to speak and listen, come to worship.
