Sunday, June 25 – All Church Brunch

WPC Connections (a merger of Outreach and Care Councils) will be sponsoring an all-church brunch on Sunday, June 25 immediately following the Congregational Meeting called for 11 AM (end of worship). Dinner and a Movie – Friday, June 16

The Peacemaking and Social Justice committee, will host a dinner/movie night on Friday, June 16. Dinner will be served at 6 PM, but if you come late, there will be leftovers. At 6:30, we will show the movie “Crash” and follow it with a short discussion. The movie covers all three areas that we have been promoting: racism, guns and immigration. Strawberry Festival – Monday, June 5

The annual WPC Strawberry Festival will be held on Monday, June 5 from 5 to 8 PM, rain or shine. There will be lots to eat (hoagies, roast beef sandwiches, hot dogs, ice cream, cake and of course – strawberries). Vacation Bible Camp for 2017 Has Been Cancelled

Due to various short-term staff-related issues, the session, the Education Council, and Rob recently decided to cancel Vacation Bible Camp at WPC this summer.  VBC has been supported by four paid staff people (and an army of amazing volunteers.)  This summer, three of those staff people will be unavailable for VBC.  Holly is getting married in June. ... [Read more of this review]


Red Cross Blood Drive Results

Taize Service and Labyrinth Walk – May 17

The May Taize Service will begin at 7:30 PM on May 17. People are encouraged to spend time praying the Labyrinth in Fellowship Hall before, or after the service.
