SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR WEEKS of 5/24 & 5/31 2015
Sunday, May 17 was the final Sunday of the regular Sunday School year. Next Sunday (May 24, Memorial Day weekend) there will be no Sunday School. Adult Social Group – Bowling
The next Adult Social event will be a night of bowling at Sproul Lanes on Friday, June 12. We will depart the church at 5:30 PM, for those who want to carpool. Others can meet at the bowling alley. Red Cross Blood Drive – Wednesday, May 20

Science Night – May 15
The last Third Friday event of the program year will be held on Friday, May 15. Meghan Hawkins, a WPC member who is also as an educator at the Delaware Children’s Museum where she leads monthly science and engineering programs, will lead kids through a series of experiments with household items like lemon juice, salt, yeast, baking soda and sugar.... Grandparents’ Night – Tuesday, May 12 from 6-8 PM
We anticipate haveing 15 youth, which means that we are looking for about 15 folks of grandparenty age. At 6 PM we will eat dinner in the reception room. At 6:30, we will move to the youthroom where we will play a low-energy get-to-know-you game and then divide into pairs (one grandparent and one youth). Holly, Kate or Pastor Rob will then announce... Spring Missions Project
We are asking individuals or groups to make monetary contributions to purchase items to assemble Baby, Health and School kits. Kits are valued as follows: Baby $41, Health $12 and School $17. Checks should be made out to WPC and marked “PWW Mission Kits.” Deadline for donating is May 17.

Death of Grace Parisano Spencer – April 19, 2015
Grace Parisano Spencer (spouse of Bob Spencer) died and joined the church triumphant on Sunday, April 19.
Memorial services will be held at WPC at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 25. Friends are invited to meet with the family prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. at the church. (No reception following the service.)

Pack Food for Stop Hunger Now – May 3, 2015
On Sunday, May 3, we will be packing 10,000 meals, for the third time, which will be shipped all over the world! This promises to be an exciting and wonderful afternoon as we prepare for God’s coming into the world, by trying to do our part to make the world a bit more like the world God wants it to be.
